Bought this to replace the tiny .380 AMT I've carried for years. Lots of people bash AMT, and I did have to send mine back, but after a factory adjustment, it will shoot any ammo I've ever put in it.
The new one is just a bit bigger. No pocket carrying this one. I have a Galco holster ordered for it. Only had it out one time, and 225 rounds with zero malfunctions.
Seems lots of people add props to their gun shots, so I put in the knucks my Grand Dad gave me, that he carried in his day, and my Dad's old switch that he gave me 20 years ago.

You really can't go wrong with a Ruger. Now details on the shot. Exactly how did you get it and what did you use?

I used my D300 and 17-55 f/2.8 lens.
Manual mode
1/100
f/4.5
ISO 200
SB600 with a fong lightsphere.
Shot it standing over it, with the stuff laying on a white card, and also had a white card behind it, and propped up on both side of it.

Wow that simple. I have been thinking about getting a fong lightsphere for my SB600 flash, looks like it may be worth it. Your results look like you had an entire studio light set up.

I actually do have a studio light set up, but I'm too lazy to set it up for shots like this.
If you get the lightspher, I'd recommend the clear version. I originally bought the cloud version, but sent it back for the clear.
I shot it with the SB600 on camera, but I tilted it around a few times to lessen the shadows, and not blow out the highlights.
